Downloading Windows 10 ISO From Microsoft – in 10 easy steps

To be able to build the automated test system, we would like to create a base image, that we can later clone as machines for building up the test environments. To be able to build a Windows 10 based image for the purpose, we will need the Windows 10 ISO, which can be downloaded from Microsoft through the following steps:

1. Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10
2. Click on the Donwload tool now button to get the media creator tool.
3. After the media creator tool has been downloaded, execute it.
4. Wait until the application presents you with the license.
5. Read and accept the license terms.
6. Select the option Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC
7. On the select language, architecture and edition page select the configuration that you will be using for the test environment.
8. On the Choose which media to use screen select ISO file
9. Select the destination folder for the ISO
10. Wait until the application finishes the download
